    This indoor event is the perfect way to start your Christmas shopping for your bookish best friend or child.
    Held in the Concession Building of the grounds with free entry and free parking. This is the perfect way to spend the afternoon surrounded by books and great friends.
    Whether you're a bookworm or a craft enthusiast, this event is perfect for you. Immerse yourself in a world of words and creativity as you explore a wide range of books and bookish crafts.
    Discover local Authors and Publishers, at our Book Fair. Browse through a diverse collection of genres, including fiction, non-fiction, romance, mystery, and more. Meet authors, get signed copies, and indulge in your passion for reading.

  • Remembrance Day Ceremony

    Join us in the Grove to observe Remembrance Day and pay tribute to our veterans. There will be a display of military artifacts in the library following the service. Lunch to follow

  • Very Merry Christmas Market
    Get ready to unwrap the magic of the season at the 5th Annual Very Merry Christmas Market, hosted at the enchanting Monthill Golf & CC!

    Indulge in the festive spirit at our Very Merry Christmas Market, where admission is FREE, and the first 25 attendees will be treated to a delightful grab bag filled with goodies from our incredible vendors! 
     
    Picture this: Sip and shop local as you wander through the market, with Christmas melodies gently playing in the background, creating a magical ambiance. Indulge in delectable treats as you shop from our unique vendors for the holiday season, and savor the moment with every delightful sip/bite.
     
    But that's not all! This year, we're continuing to spread the joy by collecting donations in support of local food banks around Haldimand County. Let's come together and make a difference in our community this holiday season.

  • Selkirk Remembrance Day Service

    The 1st Selkirk BPSA will hold a community  Remembrance Day Service at the gates of the Selkirk Community Park. The ceremony will begin with a memorial march starting at the Selkirk Fire Hall, located at 38 Main Street West, at approximately 11:30 a.m.

  • Remembrance Day Musical Tribute
    Join Steve McRae and Shari Vandermolen in a musical observance of Remembrance Day, sharing the music of the times.
    This is a pay what you can event with a suggested donation of $15 per person. Everyone is welcome!
  • Jarvis Remembrance Day Service

    The Jarvis Lions Club and the Community of Jarvis will be holding a Remembrance Day Service.

    The ceremony will be held at the Jarvis and Walpole Cenotaph adjacent to the Jarvis Public Library.
