No other meal conjures up images of the Victorian era more than Afternoon Tea. During this workshop, you’ll work with Dundurn’s historic cooks to prepare nineteenth-century recipes by the wood-fired range. Then visit Dundurn above stairs to discover tea traditions during the MacNab family’s time and explore below stairs to learn about the role of the household staff in preparing and serving tea for family and guests. The workshop concludes with a cozy early Afternoon Tea all together by gaslight in the historic kitchen.
