  • Month of May Food Drive

    The campaign kick-off will be Wednesday May 1st at 11:00am at Elmer Lewis Parkette. 

    The Port Dover Lions are taking on the Month of May food drive on behalf of the Port Dover Lifeline Food Bank again this year as a Club project. 

    With a goal of $40 000, the Lions are hoping the community will get behind this month-long project and help make it a success. The 2023 May food drive was a huge success. 

    There are numerous ways the Community can donate, 

    Cash or cheque donations can be made at the Port Dover Scotiabank, Lions Silver Lake Market Saturday’s. Online at, www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/port-dover-and-area-life-line-food-bank 

    Tax receipts will be available. 

    The Lions will also have their Firetruck at BB Fuels parking lot every Saturday and Roulston’s on Sundays in May taking non-perishable food and money donations. 

    A bottle drive will take place Saturday May 4th 10:00am-4:00pm at the BB Fuels parking lot. 

    The Lions will also kick off their Show & Shine Car show season with a gate collection on Monday May 20nd and 27th 

    Special non-perishable food donation boxes will be available at the following locations. Lions Silver Lake Market, No Frills, 

    Cash donations can be made at, LCBO, Urban Parisian, Dover Dairy Bar, Stoney’s Home Hardware, Lions Silver Lake Market and Lakeside Savings.

  • Motorcycle Ride for Dunnville Food Bank
    Come out and support the Motorcycle Ride for the Dunnville Food Bank!
    Ride leaves and returns from Choppers Custom Works.
    Registration is 9am-10am
    Rider : $ 30.00
    Passenger : $ 20.00
    Kickstands up 10:15 am & 10:30am
    Food provided after the ride (approximately 2:30 - 3 pm), come early for coffee and donuts supplied by Tim’s from Dunnville!
     
    For those who don’t ride, cash donations and non perishable food are welcomed. All proceeds go directly to the Dunnville Food Bank.

  • Ancaster Dessert Fest
    Grab your bestie or fly solo and come out to support local makers + small businesses while enjoying the most delicious sweet treats imaginable! Featuring everything from BeaverTail pastries, butter tarts, gourmet cinnabuns to cheesecakes and everything in between. ?

    Featuring top bakers & chefs, a large vendors & artisans market, grab lunch or a snack at our food trucks, free loaded swag bags for the first 50 daily, free entry into the grand prize basket, a kids corner, free on site parking & so much more!

  • Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides 2024

    Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides is back and better then ever! This SUNDAY MAY 26, 2024!!!! Help us raise $1.6 million for our Super Heros!

    The Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides is a national fundraising walk held in local communities in each province across Canada. It raises funds to help Lions Foundation of Canada continue to fulfill its mission of empowering Canadians with disabilities to navigate their world with confidence and independence by providing Dog Guides at no cost to them and supporting each pair in their journey together.
