Things are about to get spicy at this annual Dunnville Chili Cook-Off, where friendly competition and big flavour take centre stage. Whether you are entering a pot of your best chili or just coming hungry, this is the kind of event that brings people together for laughs, opinions, and second helpings.

Competitors arrive in the late morning to set up and get ready before judging kicks off at 12:30 pm. Once the judges get to work, the real fun begins. From that point onward, the public is invited to enjoy tastings, cheer on their favourites, and weigh in on the eternal chili debates. Beans or no beans. Mild or melt-your-face-off. Everyone has an opinion, and everyone gets a say.

This event is all about community connection, good food, and a bit of bragging rights. Expect a welcoming crowd, plenty of bowls being passed around, and an atmosphere that stays fun rather than overly serious. You do not need to be a chili expert to enjoy it.
