    Port Colborne's Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival returns August 1-4, 2025! Celebrate the city's rich nautical history with a weekend packed full of family-friendly fun.   • Heritage Days - WAFMA

    Bring the whole family for a weekend packed with vintage charm and hands-on fun! Explore a huge display of antique farm equipment, catch live threshing demos, and enjoy action-packed tractor and lawnmower pulls. Kids will love the free petting zoo, bouncy castle, and games, while adults can browse the Trading Post and Craft Fair. Fuel up with pancakes for breakfast, beef on a bun for lunch, plus classic eats like burgers, fries, ice cream, and more. Don’t miss the Sunday Car Show and a visit to the open Train Station!

    New this year is the Antique Marketplace and Yardsale in the big red barn from 9 am - 3 pm daily.

    Tractor Pulls and Lawnmower Pulls are Saturday & Sunday only.

    Car Show takes place on Sunday from 10 am - 2 pm

    Presented by WAFAMA - Walpole Antique Farm Machinery Association, located at 2050 Hwy 6, Jarvis, Ontario.

    Entry free or by donation.

  • Pop-Up in Dundurn’s Historic Kitchen Garden

    Hamilton Children’s Museum will be popping up at Dundurn National Historic Site in the Historic Kitchen Garden. Bring your young family and friends for free nature-based activities in “Sophia’s Garden”, a child-focused interactive space. This area of the garden was inspired by excerpts from The Diary of Sophia MacNab, as Sophia describes playing in the kitchen garden and growing a small plot of fruits and vegetables with her younger sister. This new garden features plants selected to inspire kids to touch, smell and interact with nature. Join Hamilton Children’s Museum staff to explore plants, animals, insects and engage in hands-on activities.

    This program is weather dependent and will be cancelled if there is audible thunder, heavy rain, or if temperatures are above 40 degrees Celsius.

  • Canfield Firefighters 54th Annual Pig & Corn Roast

    Join us for the 54th Annual Pig & Corn Roast! Doors open at 5:30 pm with dinner being served at 7pm with a dance to follow (19+ only) Adults are $25, kids (4-12) are $10, under 4 are free! There will door prizes, raffle prizes, and a DJ playing all evening. Tickets can be bought from any Canfield Firefighter, by messaging or calling 289-680-3976, or by leaving a comment on our event page. Tickets usually sellout before hand so be sure to reserve your tickets early!
