  • Fall Garden & Mum Show

    The Fall Garden & Mum Show is Ontario’s largest Chrysanthemum show presented by City Horticulture staff. The show started in 1920 and a new theme each year has taken us through dramatic scenes of flowers, colours and displays with over 200 varieties of Chrysanthemums, and more than 100,000 blooms grown at Gage Park Greenhouse.

    The show takes place indoors at the Gage Park Greenhouse. Over 20,000 square feet of display space houses the show and plenty of free parking.

  • Hamilton Children’s Museum Pop-Up in Dundurn’s Historic Kitchen Garden

    Young ones are invited to drop in for free nature-based activities in Sophia’s Garden, a new child-focused interactive space located in Dundurn’s Historic Kitchen Garden featuring plants selected to inspire kids to touch, smell and interact with nature. 

    This program is weather dependent and will be cancelled if there is audible thunder, heavy rain, or if temperatures are above 40 degrees Celsius.

    Free event hosted at the Dundurn National Historic Site.

  • Thanksgiving Food Drive

    Help support our local community members in need this holiday season with the Thanksgiving Food Drive hosted by the Caledonia Royal Canadian Legion. 

    Items Needed Include:

    Children's school snacks and juice boxes, canned fruit, apple juice, sugar, canned meat, peanut butter, cereal, crackers, canned tomoatoes, pasta sauce, laundry soap, shampoo and coniditoner, hygiene products such as toilet paper and feminine hygiene, grocery bags, canned and non-perishable items.

    NO homemade items please!

    All donations will go to the Caledonia Food Bank.

  • Balls Falls Thanksgiving Festival

    The Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival is a Niagara tradition, and this year, Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority excited to celebrate 50 years of heritage, culture and memories by making the 2024 festival bigger and better than ever! This week, you have chances to score a family 4 pack of passes to attend the 50th annual of Ball's Falls Thanksgiving Craft Show October 11th – 14th at Ball's Falls Conservation Area! 

    The 50th Festival will feature all of your fall favourites, including 150+ unique craft and artisan vendors, delicious foods, craft beverages and wines, fresh, local farmers’ market vendors, live music on the main stage and children’s entertainment, historical demonstrations, heritage tours and guided nature hikes.

    Guests will enjoy elevated musical entertainment and family-friendly activities and shows throughout each day. To celebrate our 50th anniversary, we are hosting a free concert featuring award-winning singer/songwriter! Stay tuned for more information!

  • Waterdown Farmers Market

    The Waterdown Farmers’ Market takes root in the parking lot of the Royal Canadian Legion every Saturday morning, rain or shine, from 8 AM to 1 PM from the end of May until mid-October. 2024 marks the 11th season of the current iteration of the community Market, continuing a decades old tradition of showcasing our community’s agricultural roots. 

    Vendor offerings include local produce, meats and eggs direct from the farm, plus baked goods, preserves, VQA Ontario wines and more. We’re excited to welcome 6 new growers and half a dozen new food makers, expanding offerings to now include mushrooms, dairy products, vegan treats and more diverse ethnic flavours.

  • Community Mural Unveiling

    Come out to Downtown Dunnville and check out the unveiling of the 13 community murals! Each weekend through-out September local artists and their mentee's teamed up with our local community members to create beautiful pieces of work on huge canvas'. 

    The unveiling will take place in Downtown dunnville from 9am to 12pm with live music, kids activities, sidewalk sales and more!
