The Hamilton Children’s Museum and Fieldcote are teaming up to encourage family and friends to enjoy each other and the outdoors this Family Day during Winterfest. Visitors will make bird feeders to place in backyards and on balconies to help our feathered friends. We also encourage participation in the Great Backyard Bird Count at https://www.birdcount.org/.

North Erie Shore Historical Society presents its 40th Selkirk Heritage Day event on Monday February 19th from 10:00 a.m. - 4 p.m. This event includes displays and demonstrations of crafts, heritage exhibits and games, local history books, refreshments, country music and dancing, . New this year: Spelling bee for children and adults beginning at 10:15 a.m. All ages welcome.

Admission is by donation.

The Inside/Outside Family Day Festival returns on Monday, February 19th, from 11am – 3pm! Enjoy crafts, a scavenger hunt, a box fort, and hot chocolate inside the Dundas Museum and Archives. At the Dundas Driving Park, you can ice skate, play games, and hear live music! Visit both locations to be entered into a draw!

Join us for a family-friendly tour of Whitehern featuring entertainment from the 19^th and early-20^th centuries. Experience interactive elements with music, radio dramas, children’s toys and family photo opportunities. Don’t miss a stop by The Stable for free popcorn and film clips from the 1930s. The first 25 families to arrive will receive and entertainment-themed Grab & Go Kit containing interesting history, crafts and activities.

Do away with screens, blinking lights, and dead batteries and visit the Museum of Steam & Technology’s Unplugged Family Day Activity Centre!

Drop-in and try some low-tech games and activities – including nostalgic board games, train puzzles, and matching games. Try your hand at origami, build a house of cards, and make your own puppet to take home. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
